....Was AWESOME!!! I went to see them a few weeks ago when they came to my home town.  Before I went, I thought it was going to be something like "Circ de Soleil " In which they do some stunts and music stuff.  I soon found out that it was more like a colorful, comedic version of "Stomp".  I've seen a video version of "Stomp" and thought it was pretty good.  this however, might have even been better than "Stomp". Blue Man Group did a cool thing where they used PVC pipes as musical instruments, sort of like drums.  The sound of the pipes were neat to listen to. In the performance the Blue Man Group did a lot  of audience intervention in which they picked people in the audience to do stuff with them.  There was this one girl they picked to some little comedic dinner routine, and she kept laughing and making squint faces as if she were to say "what the heck are they doing?" because we all know that the Blue Man Group can't talk at all.  They also made some paint splattered art which they did towards the beginning.  The Blue Man Group showed us informative stuff while keeping us entertained. They showed us how are brains have the capability to see colors by showing a video about it in the background behind them. The whole show was filled with color which is one feature I loved about it. Towards the end they started listing a bunch of Rock Concert Moves, "Rock Concert Move # 1, the Fist Pump"and then we all had to do it. Then when they got to move # 7 they started telling us to shake our butts using all of these slangs and euphemisms and putting it all together in one awesome song. While the song was playing, the Blue Man Group started tossing huge bouncy balls with colored lights into the audience. They also dropped down long strips of tissue paper and other stuff to make it look like we were really here for a great Rock Concert. I was in the Balcony so I couldn't do anything cool while all of this was happening, and just about everyone in the balcony stopped dancing after a few minutes probably due to the fact that they didn't feel like it. Overall I enjoyed the show Because They made me laugh a lot, and want to dance a lot, which are things I both enjoy and don't do that often when going to see a production. If you have a chance to see them, i would recommend that you go because the Blue Man Group are very entertaining.  Their music is also available on iTunes.  I didn't even know that they were a somewhat legit music group.  :P

the way he does his jokes is in a really random order, but he was hilarious!

Have you tried to get a band together and didn't know what to call it? or even what the album would look like? Well, now there is a facebook chain trend in which that decision can be randomly made for you.

1 - Go to Wikipedia and hit random. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band. 2 - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album. 3 - Go to flickr and click on “explore the last seven days." Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover. 4 - Use photoshop or similar (picnik.com is a free online photo editor) to put it all together. 5 - Post it with this text in the caption and TAG the friends you want to join in.

here are some of the albums I made using this.

I know some of you already know this band, but not very many people know about them. I found this band while looking through new iTunes releases. The Like consists of Elizabeth "Z" Berg (vocals and guitar), Tennessee Thomas(drums), Laena Geronimo (bass), and Annie Monroe (organ). They are an American Alternative band that takes influences from 60's rock/soul. When the band started out, there was originally 3 people in the band. but one of the original 3 somehow left leaving both Z and Tennessee. Then came the other 2 members as well as a new image and sound thanks to music producer Mark Ronson. I really love their style. Check them out.
this is a video of The Like before the change
both eras of the band are pretty good to me. but I think that they are a lot better the way they are now. Don' t you agree?

I saw this while looking through "Interview" magazine, and while the magazine itself is very provocative, this was just too funny to pass up!!

This is actually Marc Jacobs by the way. He doesn't look bad stripped down, but they didn't have to put so much oil on him. A lot of oil does not make a man look sexy, it just makes them look sticky. Das jus nasty. Not to mention the name says it all, and it's in big bold letters . It looks like he's banging his own perfume. The poor fella must have been soooo desperate. wwwoooow. lmao.

My parents decided to get my cat Tiny a "Pet's Eye View" camera. Which is a mini camera that goes on her collar. The camera takes pictures automatically at certain time intervals. Whenever Tiny goes outside for a while, we usually put the camera on her collar before she leaves. she comes back with pretty neat pictures.

I must say that I am pretty impressed with the stuff she comes back with.  At least now we know what she does during the day. She's like our little professional photographer now!

Sidney Polak is a famous Polish singer/composer/rapper. He was originally a drummer for a band called T.Love, but eventually made his way into a solo career.  My dad discovered him, on one of his internet quests to learn to speak Polish, and find Polish music. I slowly started to like him. most of his music consists of reggae, folk, and rap influences. This is the first video I saw of him called "Otwieram wino" which means "I open the wine". (a lot of his songs have something to do with alcohol)
Here is another song, that reflects more on his rapping style, called "Chorwat" meaning "Croat".  It's a very crazy song. Don't ask me what it's about because I have no idea. but I still love it!
Here is another (more recent one of Sidney's) gangsta song that you will laugh at and enjoy. the backup vocals are priceless! it's called "Skuter". I don't really have to translate that do I?
Here's one more called "Natalia". It's about a girl....that's all I really know. The song is more subtle than the other 3, but the video is really good.
Sidney has a very distinct music style compared to other Polish singers. Most of the singers I've seen all sound sort of the same to me. He almost looks like Carrot Top's long lost cousin. but he is very talented

Fance Gall was a famous french pop singer in the 1960's. I found videos of her on YouTube a few years ago and I think she's great. I think french 60's pop is great all together, but I think I enjoy her music the most. here is one of the first songs i heard from her. The song is called  "Poupee de Cire, Poupee de son" which roughly translates as "doll of wax (or sawdust), doll of sound".
here is a song that is one of my favorites of her's. it's called "pense a moi" which translates as "think of me" it's very jazzy and suave.
She had alot of other great songs in the early 60's.  however in '66, A guy who writes her songs, Serge Gainsbourg, wrote her a song called "les sucettes" which translates as "lollipops".  She was too young to realize that the song she was singing had a sexual innuendo or double meaning for oral sex, she was publicly humiliated.
while her popularity was decreasing in France, she became famous in other countries. One of those Countries was Germany. She sang in German as well. Here is a favorite clip of mine of France Gall on a German TV show, singing a weird song about a computer.
she continued to make songs in the 70's and 80's, but none are as nearly as good as her songs in the earlier years (personal belief) . there is a good song she sang in the 80's called "Ella Elle L'a" which I heard somewhere that it translates as "Ella, she's got it". it's a song dedicated to Ella Fitzgerald.
overall, Fance Gall has a sweet and Girly voice, but not the annoying kind. her 60's fashion style is awesome and..... people have said that she has a slight resemblance to Sienna Miller, which i can sort of see.  If you like her, check out more of her stuff!!!! there's a whole bunch of videos on youtube.
