Me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So yeah hi again. My name is Audrey. not Aubrey or Audra or Andrea or Andre. The first time someone meets me they always seem to get my name wrong and say one of the names above. lol. So.... your asking "what is this website??". well...I don't really know yet. Probably for just people to look at and stuff. lol. It's pretty pointless really. But since I'm here I might as well tell you a few things about me.
I am 100 years old and I live in your closet. j/k . not really. but you probably already knew that. :P I am a college student. I am from the U.S. of A. I am mostly of Polish descent but my last name is french. I have a mom and a dad and an older sister. My mom's a home maker and I don't really know what my dad does because it's confusing to explain, but I know that he works at a shipyard. My older sister teaches at the same high school that I went to. She teaches 10th grade English and Creative Writing. these are a few questions that most of her students used ask about her and me.
1. is that your mom/daughter?
2. Did she teach you when you were a freshmen?
3. are you okay with your sister being a teacher at the same school you go to?
The answer to #1 is, of course, no. This is because if anybody knew how old my sister is, and how old I am, this would mean that she would have had me when she was 8 years old which is totally impossible (unless if you live in the poorest 3rd world country in the world). the answer to # 2 is no also. In our school district, it is against the law to have a relative as a teacher/student. They're afraid that I would be graded to easily / harshly If I had her as a teacher. The answer to #3 is In someways yes and in someways no. I liked it because she was always around the corner if i needed her. She also took me to and from school. The thing i didn't like about it was that she just about knew half of my teachers and if they said something about my grades, she would be the first to know. That was always nerve racking. But I know that she can't help it because she's a teacher and she was just doing her job, and informed me and my parents. She's married now. Her and her new husband got married in Las Vegas. My relatives live in upstate New York, and her husband's relatives live here. Because we have so many relatives, we couldn't bring them all to were we live so my sis and her new husband just ended up going to Vegas by themselves and getting married.
I also have 3 cats. the oldest is Muriel (top picture.she's the one on the left), and the middle child cat is Lola(on right). Anyone who meets Muriel for the first time would describe her as a brat. And she really is. She's always so nervous around people. And if people don't leave her alone, then she'll hisss at them and maybe bite them on occasions. But don't let her get the best of you. She can be alright sometimes. And then there's Lola. She is basically the counter opposite of Muriel. She is all sweet and innocent. She's also a coward and hides away when people come over. Muriel and Lola aren't related. We got Muriel first and then later on got Lola. Muriel hates Lola. We are not really sure why. It might have to do something with Dominance. But there are sometimes where they are actually nice to each other. our third and youngest cat is tiny (at the bottom). She is an outdoor cat. She is very playful and very nice. She also has extra fingers that look like thumbs. she was originally our neighbor's cat, but he wasn't taking care of her. So now, for time being, she is all ours. both Muriel and Lola hate her. all tiny wants to do is play with them but they could really care less.
I like to act. I am very much a drama geek. I absolutely love the theater! when i was younger, I always remembered wanting to be the stars acting on TV . It always seemed so fun to me. Just to pretend to be someone else for a day or 2. When I got a little older, I got into some summer programs that involved acting. It was really fun. Then in middle school I started doing actual plays. We had a really small stage to work with. Although I never had a lead then, it was still a good experience.I even got an award, the last year I was there, for being the most versatile Then when I went to a magnet high school, everything changed . The stage was a whole lot bigger, and more people seemed to audition. There was also more competition with older high schoolers. They did certain things differently, but later on I got used to it. We had 2 drama teachers at our school which made their work a whole lot easier ( or harder depending on whether they can make up their minds on things). But I had grown to like the drama department. Most of my friends were in the drama department so I was never really alone or friendless. It was always nice to have friends who had the same sort of passions as me. It was more like one big family. And I enjoyed every second of it whether I was a lead or chorus person # 53. I'm in college now, and still continue doing plays, but it's not my major. it's really just something i do for fun.
I'm not very outgoing. I am pretty much a quiet person. If I played an international championship version of the quiet game, I would most definitely be the champion. Because unlike most careless teenagers these days, I know when and when not to shoot my mouth off. I also don't always have something to say all the time. It's only in Drama activities that I talk a lot in . That's because i am comfortable in that environment. I don't really know most of the kids in my main classes. And I'm usually afraid to speak out in class because I'm afraid I'll say something stupid. My parents always say how that shouldn't bother me and how I should make new friends and stuff. But for me it's not that easy. Probably because I think too much and need to do more than think. But whatever my problem is. I've been trying to fix it.
Another thing I like to do is watch a lot of TV. I'm not like a couch potato, i do other stuff besides watching TV,but I realized that people at school are watching less and less Television. It actually does get boring. But recently I've been watching British TV shows, and I fell in love with television again. This is when I discovered that I am somewhat of an anglophile. I love all the accents, their culture, their bands, and even their form of comedy. I even hope to go there someday. My favorite American shows are the office, Community, 30 rock, SNL, The Soup,Modern Family, The Middle and maybe a few others. My favorite British TV shows are Doctor Who, Torchwood, Top Gear, the Graham Norton show, the Inbetweeners and the IT crowd. But my most favorite British TV show would have to be Doctor Who
Doctor Who is pretty awesome. It's about this alien (called the doctor)who has a box that's bigger on the inside, and he can travel through time and space. the aliens on the show can be a little fake looking, but everything else is pretty cool. This TV show has been on since the 60's. But I like watching the more recent ones.
So, as boring as this hole passage thing was, that pretty much sums up me in a nutshell. So I will let you go back to what you were doing and let you do something more interesting. But thank you for taking the time to read this. -Audrey :)
